Gears of War fans will most definitely agree that Gears 5 is high on their wish list as one of the most exciting Xbox One games coming in 2019. A new Gears of War 5 leak has emerged ahead of E3 2019,  which details the product info that’s going to coincide with the release of arguably one of the biggest releases of 2019 for Xbox.

Gears 5 is almost a certainty among the list of games to be talked about during the E3 2019 press conference schedule, Microsoft’s presentation to be precise, so this new Gears of War 5 leak from a Restera user detailing what we can expect from the game is big news.

This Gears of War 5 leak isn’t the first we’ve seen however, with a Gears 5 September release date and box art leak being revealed just a few weeks ago  – that plus this new leak gives us some particularly good detail to go on.

the Gears of War 5 leak discovery

The discovery of the Gears of War 5 leak details the product information in relation to the Gears 5 campaign with a synopsis as follows:

“The world is crumbling. Humanity’s reliance on technology has become their downfall and enemies are uniting to wipe out all survivors. As Kait you must journey across the biggest, most beautiful Gears world to uncover the origins of the Locust, and fight with your squad to protect what’s left.”

In addition to the campaign synopsis we’ve also secured a confirmation that the Gear 5 campaign is set to offer online and local co-op play, with the PvE Horde mode kept quiet for now – we did however get PvP confirmation as you would normally want to see as part of the franchise.

If that’s not enough, the Gears of War 5 leak listing also states that 4K Ultra HD, HDR and 60 FPS support will be available from the get-go. PC and Xbox One cross platform play will also be available between the two Gear 5 versions of the game.

With this Gears of War 5 leak it’s certainly gearing up to be one of the greatest games we’re going to see coming to Xbox One and PC in 2019, although E3 2019 will show us exactly what we can look forward to.

I've been a gamer ever since I was old enough to hold a controller, early 90's to be exact. My first console was a NES, with my favourite games ranging from Super Mario to Duck Hunt. Fast forward almost 30 years and I'm now a PS4, PC and Switch player. My ideal genres are RPG and RTS titles, so Assassin's Creed, Kingdom Hearts, Viv 6 and Two Point Hospital are included in my mix.

Have your say!
