There’s nothing worse than trying to install a new game on your Switch, to be greeted by a message that you’ve run out of Nintendo Switch storage space. If this has happened to you then you don’t need to shell out loads of cash for an official Switch SD card, as any one that’ll fit your console should be compatible. Today and tomorrow until midnight (July 15th – 16th) Amazon Prime Day is offering Switch compatible sd cards for 60% less than their usual price.

Internal Nintendo Switch storage can fill up quickly!

You’d want to increase your Nintendo Switch storage if you have no room left for saves or installing games, Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe are two games that take a hefty amount of storage for example.

If you’re looking for the cheapest way and basic Nintendo Switch storage card upgrade, you can grab a Sandisk Ultra 64 GB card from Amazon for a measly £8.29. This will keep you going for a while, but if you want something more substantial then read on.

A bigger leap to extending your Nintendo Switch storage would be to go for the 200 GB option of the sd card for a steal at £20.29. Going for this option is going to keep you going for a long time, unless of course you’re feeling like stretching a little further!

The next step up to the 200 GB variant would cost you £47.99 for a 400 GB Sandisk Ultra card. Let’s just say, with this option you will get a few years worth of Nintendo Switch storage!

Check out the full selection of Sandisk Ultra sd cards on the Amazon product page, grab whichever suits your requirements but be quick as these deals won’t last much longer!

I've been a gamer ever since I was old enough to hold a controller, early 90's to be exact. My first console was a NES, with my favourite games ranging from Super Mario to Duck Hunt. Fast forward almost 30 years and I'm now a PS4, PC and Switch player. My ideal genres are RPG and RTS titles, so Assassin's Creed, Kingdom Hearts, Viv 6 and Two Point Hospital are included in my mix.

Have your say!
