Following a recent leak thanks to Amazon UK revealing the image and description of the game, the Batman Arkham Collection steelbook edition has now been officially made available to pre-order. The game is set to release for both Xbox One and PS4 consoles, but as yet there’s no word of a PC or Nintendo Switch release.
The Batman Arkham Collection steelbook edition – what’s included?
Many fans of the upcoming remastered Arkham collection vented their views about a September 6th release – bearing in m ind this is yet to be confirmed. the Batman Arkham Collection steelbook edition will include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and the more recent Batman: Arkham Knight. With Batman:Arkham Origins being a Warner Bros. title while the others are Rocksteady games, it’s been revealed that this game isn’t going to be included with the collection. To many collector’s liking, this version of the collection will retail at the £39.99 price point and is going to include the physical discs, phew!
The leaked Amazon listing of the Batman Arkham Collection steelbook edition aligns with the same one featured on GAME Uk’s listing, so it’s good to see the retailers are all on the same page. The product listing reads ”
Whether the Batman Arkham Collection steelbook edition will make its way to PC and Switch will be something we’ll need to wait for (considering the release date isn’t even confirmed for sure at this point).
Compared to the GAME listing, the PS4 version on Amazon goes further stating the game ”includes Exclusive Steelbook packaging, Batman Arkham: Knight GOTY game, and return to Arkham”
