Tropy unlock is head over to the Local arcade option of the main menu, go to Time Trial Mode and complete all of the courses and beat the best time for each of them. Once you do this N. Tropy’s ghost will be unlocked, at which point you’ll need to race against him resulting in N. Oxide’s ghost being unlocked. Beating N. Oxide isn’t a requirement luckily, but you always have the option of racing him for an even more difficult race.
