e3 2018 playstation conference

Those of us who stayed up until 2AM BST to watch the E3 2018 PlayStation conference will know about the buzz gamers received when some of the game reveals were portrayed in front of us, and in comparison to the Xbox and Ubisoft conferences they’ve done pretty good. For the others who couldn’t stay up – read on.

Death stranding

Along with a cast of high-profile actors, the E3 2018 PlayStation presentation gave us a much deeper look at Death Stranding with a new gameplay trailer.

The Last of Us Part 2

This was one of those that we all wanted to see more of, The Last of Us Part 2 boasted a gameplay trailer which lasted over 10 minutes, it gave us a good look as to what we could look forward to.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

Spider-Man was given a brand spanking new trailer which shows us some more in-depth gameplay during the E3 2018 PlayStation briefing.

Deracine

The Dark Souls and Bloodborne developer FromSoftware unveiled Deracine, a PS4 exclusive in an eye-pleasing announce trailer.

Control (A New Game by Remedy)

At the E3 2018 PlayStation presentation, the developers of Alan Wake and Quantum Break revealed Control – and as we know from Quantum Break the devs have a clear focus on making their games look graphically pleasing with a unique storyline.

Ghost of Tsushima

A shiny new gameplay trailer showing the combat mechanics of Ghost of Tsushima dropped at the E3 2018 PlayStation presentation, although no word on a release just yet.

God of War – New DLC

If you’ve polished off the main story as well as the God Of War side missions, good news! You’re in for something new. E3 2018 PlayStation confirms a new game plus mode.

Kingdom Hearts 3

The Kingdom Hearts franchise as we knew it was an exclusive to PlayStation, with the title becoming cross-platform the E3 2018 PlayStation presentation pulled a special edition version of Kingdom Hearts 3 out of the hat to keep that edge over the competition.

Nioh 2

Nioh 2 will be making its way to PS4, and to tease fans the PlayStation E3 press conference let out n exciting new trailer.

Resident Evil 2 Remastered

The Resident Evil 2 horror title we knew and loved (and still do) is making its way onto PS4 with a remaster of the original game. The trailer looks pretty impressive graphically and fans were excited to return to Raccoon City at the start of 2019.

E3 2018 PlayStation in a nutshell

This was honestly among my favourite conferences, one thing PlayStation have always and continue to do well is with their game exclusives. They’ve provided a host of games that are coming only to PS4, and personally PS4 gamers should be pretty excited for what’s to come.

Have your say!
