Red Dead Redemption 2 Trinkets And Talismans will unlock perks, but bear in mind these items are not easy to come by, but once you unlock or craft a selected perk this will be applied to your character and be available for the entire game.
How Trinkets And Talismans work to unlock perks
Once you visit a Fence, give them some cash and the required items you’ll be able to apply the desired perk to your character. Note that a lot of the required items are going to hold some rarity, meaning you’ll likely need to complete an entire collectible list or hunt down Legendary Animals.
After you’ve picked up your trinkets or talisman the effect it has will last throughout your entire Red Dead 2 journey, and you can check exactly what its unlocked by heading over to the player section of your pause screen and then selecting Arthur from the list on-screen.
If you went for the Red Dead Redemption 2 Special or Ultimate edition of the game you’ll have access to these trinkets and talismans straight away from Chapter 2. Head to your camp and look for a chest towards the bottom boot of your bed – they’ll be readily available.
